My kids are infamous for waiting until I say "bedtime" to decide that they are hungry. With that said the conversation last night was..."Liv it's BEDTIME" her innocent response was, "but with all these things the COLOR OF FOOD I'm just so hungry." I didn't realize that I was the who was tempting them!!!

It's already here!!! Can you believe it?! With a new year comes new goals, new challenges, and a new outlook. With all of these things coming my way I look forward to them with a new sense of adventure in me!! I'll list some goals and even some other craziness with you and this time I will do it!! Well, in my last post I made the statement that I was going to do better, I was going to start way back when, but I have been asked to post some pix of recent events so here you go!! AS many of you know we are avid soccer fans and attend ALL REAL SALT LAKE GAMES as season ticket holders we were able to go to the MLS ALLSTAR game and have our same seats can you say AWESOME!! Welll in the stands a few rows away were some of the guys from the team, now I LOVE my husband but man there are some cuties!! Here is my fav and the fav of Miss Och... Go ahead photshop me out and you in I LIVED the dream!!!!

Wow! Time goes by way too fast! It has been a crazy while for this family of 4!! I check in regularly hoping to find a new post that the magical blog fairy has left for me only to find an empty page with the last date I posted!! It has been a LONG time my friends!! The blog fairy doesn't exist and so here I am!!! I am going to try and catch you all up on what's been going on with us, you may get board and some may seem out of date but, I want to make sure I fill in all the blanks!! The past few days we have had the priveledge of watching two of our favorite little babies. Lola LOVES IT!! So as I was trying to keep a crying little one happy I asked her to get me her bottle. The reply I got was "geez I'm not the mommy," So I said let's trade I'll be the kid and you be the mommy. With a look of ARE YOU INSANE?? I got "No I don't want to be the mommy, I'll just be the ASSISTANT MOMMY!!!" With a huge smile I agreed that we made a pretty great team!

Well where do I begin! For starters we are only renting this house. In the beginning it was always our intention to one day own it, until the time came to buy and the price tag was for lack of better words ridiculous. Our house is amazing don't get me wrong, but when it does not appraise for what the seller wants it makes you step back and rethink a few things! To start with I LOVE this neighborhood there is not one thing I would change,( well except that it were gated and only those with a pass could get in!!) But when it comes to the house it is not my "dream" home. I know it sounds petty but there are a few things I am refusing to give into, (textured walls are high on the list!) As of right now we are headed to Centerville until we decide to build or find one that fits all requirements! The time has gone way to fast and to be honest I was not ready for it to be here. I PROMISE we will not be far and you will see us often!! I plan on many BBQ's and days of popping in just to play in the circle! I wish I could have everyone pack up and start a new CC because it would make this so much easier!! I want everyone to send me email address' so that I can keep in touch and I promise I will get better at posting to keep everyone updated!!! I'm up for anyone who wants to join us and start the new "HOOD!"

Well I guess it's time. After 21/2 years it seems it's time to go. The decision was not an easy one but now that it's made I wanted to let everyone know that soon the sign will be going up and we will be moving out of our beloved "celestial circle." It will be hard and we will Greatly MISS all the fun. Don't think that we won't be back as guests to visit and to have BBQ'S!! I can honestly say that this has been one of the hardest choices we have had to make. We will be here until the end of May so hopefully the sun will start to shine so we can have some fun in the circle!! I'll keep you posted if things change!!

Last night we were discussing some summer activities with the kids. We told them we were planning on camping maybe more than once. This brought up how spoiled we really are. The first question came from Tak, Can we take the Lap Top? Our reply NO! That's why you go camping to get away from all that stuff. Jason tells him that he used to go camping all the time when he was a kid, and Tak's response was the greatest innocent kid friendly thing I've heard..... "Dad you only went camping alot because back then you didn't have color T.V.." Of course that sent my age sensitive hubby into a rant about how they had color t.v. and only 1 portable B/W televison set!! I had to sit back and giggle only because it wasn't directed at me!!! That's when I began to question "How old do we look!"

Time flies when your having fun!! It's amazing to me to think that my baby girl is 5!! She has been so much fun!! She and her brother have such a special bond, it all started when HE picked her name. We have been so blessed to have her in our family. Sometimes I think she is 4 going on 15 but I wouldn't change her for the world! HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY LoLA!!! WE LOve you!

Bits & Pieces

So as you all can tell my blogging is in "Bits & Pieces" so My goal is to be better at it than in the past so I'm not making any promises but I'll give it my best shot!! So here is something I thought was worth sharing!!! As I try to be an involved parent I volunteer at T's school in his class, I had read the cute little signs in the room before but for some reason they have been stuck in my mind, SOOOO here I am finally sharing for all of you to smile at the funny things kids say.... I think the title of the book is The lesson's kids live by or something like that
1. NEVER tell your mom her diet isn't working!
2. When your dad is mad and asks "do I look stupid?" DON'T answer
3. Never baptize a CAT!!
There are so many more but I can't help but smile when I read the first two I think they must have been around my house once or twice!!

Because I'm going through pix and trying to catch up I decide this was a must post!! Her is my Lola and her friend Soph. Anyone who knows these two knows they are extreme opposites, but both give into the other for the sake of play time!! Soph would rather be Scar the "mean" LION (I don't think there is a true mean bone in her little body!) over a fruffy DANCER any day, until Lo gives her the PLEEEASE we can put lipstick on and it will be FAB- U- LOUS!!! (In the sing song tone only she do!) How can anyone resist lipstick and the chance to paint your face with what is usually off limits? Well here is the result aren't they FAB....

I'm a little slow on this and I apologize!! We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season full of GoOd FoOd, GoOd FrieNds, and of course FAMily!! We were able to spend time with family and meet some new friends! (even though I don't think i'll be playing phase 10 for a LONG timE!) I'll post some pix and give more detail into what I hope for in 09' and what I learned in 2008!! More to come....

When Jason and I got married we decided that for Christmas we wanted to start our own little family tradition. We both felt that we wanted future children to have a true sense of what CHRISTMAS was really about. As we thought about it the idea of how we could help others have a better Christmas kept coming up so we decided that we would take all of our old clothes that didn't fit or that we didn't wear anymore and go to the homeless shelter. I know it's a crazy time of year to clean out closet and all that fun stuff but it makes me so proud when my kids come to me and say Mom this is too small lets take it to the homeless or this toy would be good for somebody who won't get presents this year. We have even expanded to get a gift for each child to give to a boy and girl that are outside when we go and even a trip to the drive through at Wendy's for a few hot burgers to give out. As it gets closer I'm so excited to continue this again this year!! If anyone has anything that they would like us to add (small clothing, blankets, anything that they could use) We would love to take it with us!! Just wanted to share a tradition our family loves!! WHAT ARE YOUR FAMILY TRADITIONS????

For being so against it I have to say that today was seriously AMAZING I am so lucky to have the friends around that I do. To ALL of you.... THANK YOU for making this a birthday I don't want to ever forget. As I said before My morning was amazing and here is how my night went.... I went shopping, to dinner at my Fav chinese resturant and for some reason we had to be home by 8:15, unbeknownst to me my husband AND my son AND Liv AND the neighborhood were all in on a surprise of cake and ice cream for my "BIG" day. There were pictures plastered around the cul da sac of my face with a giant 30 it truly was AMAZING!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. I am so glad that I got to share 30 with all of you, you made it A LOT EASIER!!! Here are some pix to give you the idea...

Today is a day I have been dreading for awhile, it's been haunting me for years!! But to my surprise it has so far been one of the BEST days EVER!!! First off I have to THANK my sweet husband who knowing full well how this day has been creeping up did many things to make it better. He was up early and decorated the kitchen/great room in a way only he could. I'll post pix later he then let me sleep in while our carpool boys came and went to school. By this time he was off on another mission to get me breakfast at BK which is a treat at our house!! We then went golfing just the 2 of us and had a down right BLAST!!! It was the best golf I have ever played ...(Maybe it's the old coming out of me!!) Now he's off picking ups kids and letting me have a minuet to myself!! It's a good thing I have him around!!!

I am a little behind but better late than never RIGHT??! I can not say enough how AWSOME our little neighborhood is!! It is the best thing in the world that in this day and age with the world in all it's CRAZINESS that I know when I come home that there is a "hood" full of parents just like me who want nothing more but the best for their children. I love that we have what to some is the "Celestial Circle" I may be in the "danger zone" but at least I'm still apart of it!! So to all of you who are Part of the CC I say THANK YOU and I look forward to many more BBQs, Lightning rounds, and all in all just visiting while the kids run and play!!

MY 3's...

So I was tagged about a week ago, sorry I'm a little behind!! Sooo Here we go....
My 3 JOYS:
1. My beautiful family, I am so blessed to have them.
2. Takum's sweetness! I don't know how many people truly know how sweet he is!
3. Olivia and her girliness! It's fun and I see a little of myself everyday in her!

MY 3 FEARS:
1. Losing someone in my family. I would truly be lost with out them.
2. Heights. DEATHLY AFRAID is an understatement:)
3. Missing a chance to expand my or my families horizons!

My 3 GOALS:
1. To be just like my mom!! She is more than AWSOME!
2. To get back into my favorite jeans!! I'm not even counting pounds just keep trying them on!!
3. To learn to like to sweat!! There's more to life than sitting in the airconditioned house!! (AND it will help out with the jeans:))

CURRENT OBSESSIONS: (do I have to have 3? Here they are)
1. BLOGGING:) I'm not very good at it but I'm trying!!
2. THE TWILIGHT SERIES... I finished all of them in 2 weeks, it was crazy!!
3. WHAT NOT TO WEAR! I swear they have my outfits on there as big NO NO'S, but I love the show:)

REGRETS
This is tough. I really don't have regrets, maybe I'd like a "DO-OVER" but you can't regret what happends, it can only make you stronger.

2. I own a pair of jeans for EVERY day of the month... Jason counted:)
3. I pick my favorite sports teams based solely on how "cute" their uniforms are. (Unless David Beckham is involved! It really doesn't matter what he's wearing!)

AWWW A NEW SCHOOL YEAR!

Oh how fast time flies when your having fun!! The first day of school has come and gone and it seems that we have all survived!!! Tak was bouncing off the walls waiting to go and Liv not sure if she is happy or sad to have me all to herself!! As my "little" boy (I know he has never really been LITTLE, only to me!) Ventures off to another year of school I only wish for him the best. Lots of friends to be made and things to learn. We will definitely miss the late nights in the neighborhood but are excited to see all the fun that this new adventure brings!!

GOLF... REALLY!

So this summer has brought us a new love in our family... GOLF!!! Okay so it's just new for me! Tak had a golf league this year and went once a week, so I thought I should try it out to see if it was really as much fun as he seemed to have! Well after convincing Jason that I needed "the cutest golf bag EVER" I set out to try this game of clubs and a little white ball, I'm not the greatest but I do enjoy spending the time with Jason and the kids when we all go! Yes even Olivia has her own PINK clubs of course! Every now and then I hit it amazingly well and then there is the water... we are not friends! Of course Tak does much better and enjoys teaching me how to hit it better. But after the end of his golf league and a 1st place trophy maybe I should start listening to him!!!

This is me blowing out the candles on my last birthday cake EVVVVER! This was last year but as it gets closer I think I'll stay 29 Forever:)! I have decided that I am not having anymore birthdays as I am slowly becoming "OLD"!!! For some reason this has been a hard one for me to accept. I just don't want to be "in my thirties!!" For any of you who know me this has been haunting me since I turned 25!! I know it's not that bad but as it gets closer I'm finding that my youth is far behind me and isn't coming back!! I found grey in my hair and I color it for heavens sake!!! That is NOT a good sign! :) As you see me just pretend you don't notice me aging day by day!...
